| Job Description / Duties |
Due to expansion of the business KeTech Security Systems are looking for an experienced Bid Manager to supplement their CCTV, Access, Fire PA/VA business
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for day to day estimation of contracts reporting directly to the business General Manager
Your responsibilities shall include:
Preparation of estimates for CCTV, Fire, Security, Access PA/VA etc on a day by day basis
Coordination with sales dept
Liaison with customers identifying new business opportunities
Liaison with the Business development team of 2As Ltd to identify new business opportunities
Ensuring timely completion of all enquiries on time and to a high standard
Provide technical support to General Manager
Liaison with customers at commercial and technical level
Attend regular sales meetings identifying opportunities and business opportunities
Sourcing of equipment and requesting quotations for equipment & sub systems from existing and new suppliers and evaluation of new or alternative products
Identify new supply streams where applicable
Qualification and Experience required:
Proven track record with at least 5 years experience in design & deliverance of security and fire industry.
Commercial knowledge of contract terms and conditions.
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
Person Management skill
Capable of reading and understanding specification requirements and drawings
Take off measurements as and where applicable
Able to prepare conceptual system designs
Technical proposal writing
Understanding of the HVAC Security Markets
CCTV, Fire, Access, Intruder, PA/VA experience preferred
Familiarity with the security industry and design is essential
Knowledge of CCTV technology including Panasonic & Bosch, and working on IP networks
Design & Cost security systems to EN European Standards and ACPO legislation
NSI/SSAIB levels of design, installation & commissioning
