| Job Description / Duties |
Due to continued growth and further business opportunities, 2As’ are looking to recruit a Commissioning Engineer to provide commissioning services to the Bristol office.
Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will set up and commission HVAC motor control panels and BMS/control projects to meet the relevant specifications. The engineer will then demonstrate the function and completeness of the systems to the customer’s satisfaction, using the Trend SET software.
Internal reports are required to keep the project manager informed of progress and any relevant issues. The engineer will also report on any items that may affect compliance with current health & safety legislation.
The engineer will liaise with and supervise the installation team and protect 2A’s commercial interests at site level by writing timely reports to our customer
The Bristol office covers SW and Wales regions and projects range in size from £20k – £2 million. They vary from simple controls to large, fully integrated BMS, involving from 2-3 days to up to 1 year on site. The position may involve staying away from home on occasion
The engineer acts as the 2A’s interface with site installation sub-contractors and, on large projects, site based customers
Site based technical support is to be provided where required.
Qualifications and Experience required:
Trend Expert
Sound Knowledge of HVAC control systems, MCC’s and BMS
Good IT Literacy (Word/Excel etc.)
Minimum of 3 years experience in a relevant position
Related ONC or significant practical experience
Able to work on own initiative and have a flexible attitude
Current driving licence
Good contractual awareness
